Red dawn in Inverpollaidh
Winter
Christmas 2009 / New Year 2010 fell in the midst of the most sustained period of sub-zero temperatures over Britain for 50 years, bringing chaos to the roads but beauty to the Highlands. Deep snow surrounds Cul Beag and Stac Pollaidh in this dawn view across frozen Lochan an Ais from Knockan Crag.
